I'm not going to argue against Michael. he's got to make any top 50 list of great, complicated movie characters.some other great ones:Kane Foster in Citizen KaneTravis Bickle in Taxi Driver (post michael)George in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?Lawrence in Lawrence of ArabiaI'd also argue that a great move character isn't the same thing as a complex movie character.
